Membership Program Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled audience strategist, the full-time Membership Program Manager will develop and implement a membership program from the ground up, driving awareness and engagement for NC Local's journalism while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a marketing strategy to increase awareness and membership sign-ups across North Carolina
• Define membership offerings and design the end-to-end member experience, including benefits and incentives
• Grow and convert the audience through targeted campaigns, utilizing data analysis to tailor outreach and engagement efforts

Required qualifications

• Experience in building or significantly growing a membership, subscription, or individual giving program
• Proven success in executing individual giving campaigns that generate donations
• Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM systems to inform strategies
• Creative thinking abilities for designing and iterating effective programs
• Familiarity with marketing, audience development, and relevant digital tools
