Job Summary
Leading a medium-sized team of patient advocates, the full-time Mental Health Patient Advocate Supervisor will manage daily workflows, provide coaching and development, and handle escalations while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily team operations to meet service level and productivity goals while fostering a positive coaching environment
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support team skill development through structured coaching plans
- Oversee external customer escalations and collaborate on process improvements to enhance service quality
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare or customer service, including at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience managing Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and common software applications
- Ability to interpret performance metrics and promote a collaborative, patient-centered team culture
