Mental Health Specialist II (NJ Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II to provide support for the 988 Lifeline Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with clients in a therapeutic manner and model effective coping and recovery-oriented skills
• Assist clients in identifying personal recovery goals and develop intervention strategies
• Advocate for appropriate resources based on assessed client needs

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Willingness to work in a clean, well-lighted, and occasionally loud environment
