Mentor-In-Residence, CPG Expert

Job Summary

Supporting early-stage consumer packaged goods founders, the part-time Mentor-In-Residence, CPG Expert will provide individualized mentorship, industry expertise, and community-building efforts remotely, ideally with a focus on the Northeast Ohio region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2-3 hours of weekly individualized mentorship to founders on various business aspects
• Join virtual sessions to offer hands-on expertise and connect founders with industry contacts
• Attend and invite industry experts to pitch practice sessions, fostering a collaborative cohort environment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in CPG, retail, or consumer brand entrepreneurship
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or advising early-stage founders
• Strong connections in the CPG/retail industry, particularly in Northeast Ohio
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication and coaching
• Commitment to supporting underrepresented founders and enhancing the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem
