Job Summary
Leading the design of advanced cooling systems, the remote MEP Architect will optimize mechanical cooling solutions for high-density compute environments, focusing on innovative thermal solutions for AI infrastructure and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and optimization of mechanical cooling systems for high-density compute environments
- Develop and validate chilled water distribution systems and cooling equipment selections for reliability and efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of mechanical systems with facility and operational requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related technical discipline; professional licensure is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience designing cooling systems for data centers or high-performance environments
- Hands-on experience with liquid cooling technologies for AI infrastructure or HPC applications
- Strong background in chilled water systems, hydronic controls, and commissioning activities
- Deep understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and hydronic system performance
