Merchandise Planner

Job Summary

Driving sales and optimizing inventory, the full-time remote Merchandise Planner will develop financial plans, forecast sales, and collaborate with buying teams to ensure product availability that aligns with customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain merchandise financial plans by category, season, and store/channel
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocks
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare business reviews to present insights to cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning, preferably in specialty retail
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast trends
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning tools (e.g., JDA, SAP, Oracle)
• Deep understanding of specialty retail dynamics and customer behavior
