Job Summary
Serving as the primary owner of payment network and acquiring bank escalations, the full-time Merchant Compliance Manager will manage investigations, responses, and resolutions for compliance issues while ensuring timely communication with partners in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end investigations of payment network and acquiring bank escalations, ensuring accurate and timely responses
- Investigate brand risk violations and account data compromise events, preparing evidence packages for partner inquiries
- Conduct merchant due diligence and support network audits, identifying patterns for control improvements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or a related function in financial services or payments
- Working knowledge of payment network rules and regulations for Visa, Mastercard, and/or Amex
- Experience managing partner-facing escalations and communications under strict deadlines
- Solid understanding of merchant acquiring risk and compliance frameworks
- Industry certifications (CAMS, CFE, CFCS, CRCM) are a plus
