Merchant Fraud Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Merchant Fraud Team Lead responsible for overseeing the performance of the Merchant Fraud team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and coach Merchant Fraud Investigators in executing fraud reviews and investigations
• Serve as a subject matter expert on various merchant fraud schemes and provide guidance on escalated cases
• Identify high-risk merchants and recommend enhancements to fraud detection strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 4+ years of experience in fraud risk management or financial services
• Experience with merchant onboarding fraud or portfolio risk strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of fraud detection tools and case management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
