Merchant Optimization Specialist

Job Summary

Owning the optimization of merchant experiences, the full-time Merchant Optimization Specialist will conduct audits, implement improvements, and measure the impact of Credit Key's presentation across partner merchant sites in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing audits of Credit Key's presentation on partner merchant sites, focusing on key pages and benchmarking against best practices
• Manage outreach and collaboration with merchants to implement identified improvements, overseeing projects from recommendation through to post-launch measurement
• Track and report on the impact of optimizations on Credit Key adoption, conversion lift, and average order value

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, merchant success, account management, partner marketing, or conversion rate optimization
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento/Adobe Commerce
• Proven ability to drive action and build business cases with external partners
• Analytical skills to use conversion and adoption data for prioritization and impact assessment
• Detail-oriented with strong project management skills to handle multiple concurrent workstreams
