Merchant Risk Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Merchant Risk Analyst to support their merchant network through transaction data analysis and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor merchant activity and transaction trends to identify unusual or high-risk behavior
• Partner with the Underwriting team to review provider performance for new locations and enrollments
• Support ongoing risk reviews of existing merchants, including financial performance and adherence to guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fintech, banking, or a related financial services environment
• 1+ years of experience in merchant risk management
• Familiarity with merchant monitoring and risk frameworks
• Exposure to payment platforms or SaaS portals for managing financial products
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and visualization tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Looker)
