MERS Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Providing Tier 1 application support for clients, the full-time MERS Compliance Specialist will troubleshoot issues, assist with MERS reconciliation processes, and ensure compliance with MERS regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Provides Tier 1 support for MERS-related applications, troubleshooting issues and assisting clients with system navigation
• Completes MERS Annual Reviews as a third-party auditor to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborates with MERS members to meet monthly data reconciliation standards using the mintrak2 system

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing, servicing, or application support
• Strong knowledge of MERS compliance requirements
• Previous experience in Tier 1 support or application troubleshooting preferred
• Experience working with large data sets and performing data reconciliation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
