MERS Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
Providing Tier 1 application support for clients, the full-time remote MERS Compliance Specialist will troubleshoot MERS-related issues, assist with compliance requirements, and conduct MERS Annual Reviews to ensure regulatory adherence.
Key responsibilities:
- Provides Tier 1 support for MERS applications, troubleshooting issues and assisting clients with system navigation
- Completes MERS Annual Reviews as a third-party auditor to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Collaborates with MERS members to meet monthly data reconciliation standards using the mintrak2 system
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing, servicing, or application support
- Strong knowledge of MERS compliance requirements
- Previous experience in Tier 1 support or application troubleshooting preferred
- Experience working with large data sets and performing data reconciliation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
