Metadata Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Metadata Analyst to support its BI/reporting strategy by managing metadata effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, document, and maintain metadata for client-facing BI/reporting assets
• Implement and manage metadata standards and business definitions in alignment with governance policies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and curate business and technical metadata

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Library Science, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in data management or metadata
• Experience with metadata management and data catalog tools
• 7 years of experience in data governance and data lineage concepts
• Knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing principles
