Job Summary

A company is looking for a Metal Fabrication CAD/CAM Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and modify 3D CAD models for metal components using SolidWorks or similar software
Generate CAM programs for metal fabrication processes utilizing Mastercam or equivalent software
Conduct trial runs on CNC machines to validate programming and ensure adherence to specifications

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of hands-on experience programming and setting up CNC machines for metal fabrication
Proficient in creating CAM programs using Mastercam or similar software
Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
Strong understanding of sheet metal design principles and welding processes
Skilled in reading and creating blueprints with a focus on dimensioning and geometric tolerancing
