Job Summary

A company is looking for a Weather Associate to anchor and produce weather segments across various content platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and prepare weather information for on-air presentations and special reports
  • Provide creative ideas to showcase weather segments in an informative manner
  • Engage with social media and streaming for severe weather alerts and provide input to newscast producers
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Related Science, Communication Studies, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to ad-lib under pressure during breaking weather news and newscasts
  • Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, weekends, and severe weather coverage
  • Fluency in Spanish (speak, read & write)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and unrestricted work authorization in the United States
