Job Summary
To support a dynamic weather visualization platform, the part-time Meteorology QA Tester will perform manual testing, verify weather data features, and collaborate with the development team, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing of an interactive web-based weather visualization platform
- Verify the functionality and accuracy of weather-related features, including radar and storm patterns
- Identify and document bugs or anomalies, communicating findings clearly to the development team
Required qualifications
- Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or a related field, or a self-taught weather enthusiast with significant knowledge
- Experience using various weather applications and data sources
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to spot discrepancies in weather data
- Strong communication skills for documenting bugs clearly in English
- Familiarity with web tools and navigating across different browsers and devices
