Job Summary

Seeking a passionate weather enthusiast, the part-time Meteorology Software QA Tester will perform manual testing on a web-based weather visualization platform, ensuring features related to weather data function accurately while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing of an interactive weather visualization platform
• Verify the accuracy of weather data features and participate in live testing events during severe weather occurrences
• Identify and document bugs, collaborating with the development team to confirm fixes and suggest usability improvements

Required qualifications:

• Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or a related field, or a self-taught weather enthusiast with relevant knowledge
• Experience using various weather applications and data sources
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to spot discrepancies in data
• Proficient in documenting bugs clearly in English
• Comfortable navigating web tools across different browsers and devices
