Metrology Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Metrology Technician to manage precision measurement and inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CMM and Vision Systems for inspection routines
• Interpret engineering drawings to develop CMM programs and inspection plans
• Coordinate machined-part qualification and maintain inspection programs

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of five years of experience in a metrology environment
• Thorough understanding of Gage R&R, GD&T, and engineering print interpretation
• Strong statistical aptitude and knowledge of machined parts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
