Michigan Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

To support the financial accuracy and stability of the organization, a full-time Michigan Licensed Accountant will manage financial reporting, account analysis, and general ledger activities in a hybrid work environment with regular onsite collaboration in Hastings, MI.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain financial data in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities, including preparing regulatory reports
• Collaborate with business partners to gather, verify, and analyze financial information and support audits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Professional accounting experience involving financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Statutory insurance accounting experience is a plus but not required
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
