Job Summary
To support the nutritional well-being of patients in a dynamic healthcare environment, the full-time Michigan Licensed Acute Care Dietitian will deliver nutrition care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and provide evidence-based counseling, with up to 50% remote work flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individualized nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation
- Act as a nutrition resource for patients and healthcare staff, ensuring safe, high-quality care through collaboration
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field, or a Bachelor's degree meeting ACEND requirements (eligible before 1/1/2024)
- Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials and state licensure at time of hire
- 0-1 years of management experience and 0-3 years of related experience
- Proficiency in applying the Nutrition Care Process and knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Commitment to continuous professional development and effective collaboration with diverse populations
