Michigan Licensed Acute Care Dietitian

Job Summary

To support the nutritional well-being of patients at McLaren Greater Lansing, the full-time Michigan Licensed Acute Care Dietitian will deliver evidence-based nutrition care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and participate in performance improvement initiatives, with up to 50% remote work flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation
• Act as a nutrition resource and collaborate with healthcare staff and foodservice teams to ensure high-quality care
• Participate in or lead initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field, or a Bachelor's degree meeting ACEND requirements for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024
• Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification via CDR, with registration within 120 days of hire
• State licensure/certification requirements must be met at the time of hire where applicable
• 0-1 years of management experience and 0-3 years of related experience
• Proficiency in applying the Nutrition Care Process and knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical standards
