Job Summary
Supporting the nutritional well-being of patients in a full-time inpatient role, the Michigan Licensed Acute Care Dietitian will deliver individualized nutrition care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and participate in performance improvement initiatives, with up to 50% remote work flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation
- Act as a nutrition resource and collaborate with healthcare staff and foodservice teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in or lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines, or a Bachelor's degree meeting ACEND requirements for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024
- Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and registration within 120 days of hire
- Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at the time of hire where applicable
- 0-3 years of related experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in applying the Nutrition Care Process to deliver evidence-based care
