Michigan Licensed Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Automation Engineer to support operations and provide expert-level assistance related to automated material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment and comply with relevant regulations and company directives
• Troubleshoot and modify software programs for material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers
• Monitor material handling equipment metrics and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding technical issues and project impacts

Required Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education
• 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs and robotics system components
• 2+ years of experience with SCADA systems
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
