Michigan Licensed Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Michigan Licensed Civil Litigation Attorney, the role will manage a caseload of litigation matters, develop legal strategies, and prepare cases for trial while working remotely, but candidates must reside in Michigan for court appearances and depositions.

Key responsibilities:

• Handling a caseload of litigation matters and preparing cases for trial
• Conducting discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery documents
• Representing clients in court, attending hearings, and participating in settlement negotiations

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation and/or landlord/tenant matters
• Licensed to practice and in good standing in Michigan
• J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Proven ability to handle cases independently
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
