Michigan Licensed Commercial Lines Producer

Job Summary

To support a growing client base, the full-time Michigan Licensed Commercial Lines Producer will be responsible for soliciting and retaining insurance clients, evaluating their needs, and ensuring they receive appropriate coverage while working in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Solicit new insurance clients and maintain relationships with existing customers by following up on documentation and coverage
• Develop and present marketing plans targeting niche markets while managing a sales pipeline and participating in weekly progress meetings
• Quote risks with multiple markets and log all sales activities in the management system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years of previous insurance experience preferred, or business-to-business sales experience
• Current Insurance License in Property & Casualty preferred
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
