Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Michigan Licensed Commercial Real Estate Attorney to assist a business law firm in Detroit with transaction handling, including lease negotiations and real estate acquisitions, transitioning to a mostly remote arrangement after initial in-office work.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage lease negotiations and represent clients in real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Conduct site selection and acquisition due diligence, including title and survey examinations
- Address zoning, land use, and land entitlement issues, along with real estate financing matters
Required qualifications:
- Active Michigan bar license in good standing
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions
- Strong writing and research skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
