Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Michigan Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conduct risk assessments, and deliver crisis intervention services in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems while multitasking
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Michigan residency required for the remote position
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in a distraction-free home office environment
- Availability for regular weekend and holiday shifts post-training
