Job Summary

Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Michigan Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver emotional support, risk assessment, and crisis intervention services remotely while engaging with callers facing various challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
• Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including urgent safety issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
• Michigan residency required for remote work
• Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space for HIPAA compliance
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts post-training
