Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Michigan Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with callers experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions while working remotely from Michigan.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including urgent safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation while multitasking across multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Michigan residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free and private office space for HIPAA compliance
- Commitment to regular availability on weekends and holidays post-training
