Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Michigan Licensed Crisis Counselor will assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, intervene in crisis situations, and maintain accurate documentation while working remotely from Michigan.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively while using multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Michigan residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space for HIPAA compliance
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts post-training
