Job Summary
To provide compassionate emotional support and crisis intervention, the full-time Michigan Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with callers remotely, assessing their needs and delivering professional care while maintaining accurate documentation and navigating multiple software systems.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic telephonic support to individuals in distress or seeking guidance
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage multiple software systems effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Michigan residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space while working from home
- Successful completion of a six-week paid virtual training program is required for continued employment
