Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denials Prevention/Appeals Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of coding and billing processes
• Develop and execute denials prevention programs and conduct regular audits
• Provide continuous training to staff and ensure compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• CCS, RHIT, or RHIA coding certification required; RN certification is acceptable
• Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience or equivalent as a clinical documentation specialist
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 coding guidelines and clinical criteria
• Familiarity with inpatient reimbursement methodologies and denials management
• Proficiency in EHR and coding software applications
