Job Summary
To support individuals navigating midlife transitions, the contract Michigan Licensed Dietitian will conduct synchronous video visits and provide personalized nutrition care, focusing on lifestyle changes and symptom improvement, while working remotely and independently.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous video visits with patients to provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care
- Support patients in a multi-week program format aimed at enhancing wellbeing and facilitating lifestyle changes
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical, privacy, and compliance standards during patient visits
Required qualifications
- National certification as a registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN) with a license to practice in Michigan
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in evidence-based nutrition therapy for conditions such as metabolic syndrome and gut health concerns
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently during patient visits
