Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fire Safety Inspector 11 (Fireworks).

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce the Michigan Fireworks Safety Act and ensure compliance with state fire safety codes
• Conduct inspections of state facilities, institutions, and businesses regarding fire safety regulations
• Maintain extensive knowledge of Michigan's fireworks laws, rules, and regulations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of experience as a Fire Safety Inspector, including one year at the E10 level
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Michigan Fire Inspector certification or NFPA Certified Fire Inspector I credentials
