Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel, SVP.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides legal advice to the Board of Directors, CEO, and senior executives
• Manages in-house legal staff and oversees contract and litigation processes
• Acts as Secretary for the Board, preparing agendas and meeting materials

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Law degree and active license to practice law in Michigan or ability to obtain one
• 10+ years of experience in banking and mortgage compliance laws/regulations
• Knowledge of regulations related to deposits and lending activities
• Experience in contract and litigation management
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance and employment law
