Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist to work remotely in Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial, insurance, and demographic information for patients
• Obtain and confirm benefit, co-pay, deductible, and co-insurance information prior to patient discharge
• Resolve issues related to insurance accounts, including determining primary insurance and COB information

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of experience in healthcare insurance eligibility, verification, or billing
• Experience with insurance payor systems
• EPIC training/experience preferred
• Knowledge of ICD-10 medical terminology preferred
