Job Summary

A company is looking for a Life Underwriter to analyze and evaluate risk for life insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess life insurance applications with face amounts up to $1,000,000
• Request and ensure the necessary information for underwriting requirements is gathered
• Prepare data and reports for the Medical Information Bureau and support contract changes and reinstatements

Required Qualifications

• 2-year college degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
• 1-2 years of experience in the life insurance industry
• Knowledge of life and annuity sales is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and demonstrate independence
