Job Summary
To support a growing litigation practice, the remote Michigan Licensed Litigation Paralegal will manage case files, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist with trial preparation while ensuring compliance with court procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and motions
- Manage case files from inception through resolution, ensuring organization and compliance with deadlines
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including witness coordination and document exhibits
Required qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or medical malpractice
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
- Familiarity with Michigan court rules and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
