Michigan Licensed Marketing Attorney
Job Summary
To support a leading auto manufacturer, the contract Marketing & Distribution Attorney will provide comprehensive legal guidance on marketing, advertising, eCommerce, dealer distribution, and trade compliance in a remote capacity for a duration of six months.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for eCommerce platforms, mobile apps, and social media channels
- Counsel business teams on go-to-market strategies and dealer network evolution
- Advise on state dealer franchise laws and manage manufacturer-dealer relationship matters
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar, preferably Michigan
- 7+ years of legal experience in commercial transactions, digital media, or distribution-related matters
- Substantive experience advising on automotive distribution and trade compliance
- Experience with emerging technology or connected software initiatives is preferred
