Michigan Licensed Math Substitute Teacher

Job Summary

To support a growing culinary arts program, the full-time Michigan Licensed Math Substitute Teacher will provide engaging instruction in food preparation, kitchen safety, and hospitality skills while working remotely and maintaining a professional home office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver culinary arts curriculum aligned to state standards and CTE pathways
• Teach food preparation techniques, nutrition, and kitchen management while maintaining a safe and organized classroom
• Assess student progress through practical and written evaluations, and manage inventory and equipment within budget

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Education, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Valid Michigan Math Teaching Certification required
• Professional culinary or food service experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
• Ability to clear required background check
