Job Summary
As a contract Child and Adolescent Nurse Practitioner, the Michigan Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide essential clinical care through virtual appointments, conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management while ensuring culturally-responsive treatment for children and teens.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and construct patient-centered treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based treatment and collaborate with therapy services for holistic patient care
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or accredited PA program with relevant certification
- Unrestricted state license in Michigan
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience
- Active DEA license preferred for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Experience or certification in treating minors is preferred
