Michigan Licensed Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing ophthalmology organization, the full-time Michigan Licensed Provider Enrollment Specialist will manage high-volume, end-to-end provider enrollments, ensuring accurate and efficient enrollment processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for provider enrollment-related inquiries from internal teams and providers
• Manage full-cycle provider enrollments, including application preparation, submission, follow-up, approval, and payer activation
• Initiate and complete hospital privileging applications and maintain communication with operational leaders

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of provider enrollment experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within a multi-site or specialty practice
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end provider enrollments with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
• Strong working knowledge of payer enrollment processes and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
