Job Summary

As a fully remote Michigan Licensed Retirement Specialist, the full-time position will manage the administration, testing, and reporting of 401(k) plans, including client communication and document review.

Key responsibilities
  • Work with clients to gather necessary information for annual reporting and educate them on 401(k) plan administration
  • Review client-submitted documents for accuracy and completeness while reconciling plans using Excel and administration software
  • Prepare required government filings, including IRS Form 5500, and maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the reporting process
Required qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL regulations is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
  • Must pass a background check and meet work-from-home requirements
