Michigan Licensed Retirement Specialist
Job Summary
As a fully remote Michigan Licensed Retirement Specialist, the candidate will manage the administration, testing, and reporting of 401(k) plans, working full-time to ensure accurate document review and client communication throughout the year-end reporting process.
Key responsibilities
- Work with clients to gather necessary information for annual reporting and prepare required government filings
- Review client-submitted documents for completeness and accuracy, and reconcile plans using Excel and administration software
- Educate clients on the administration of their 401(k) plans and maintain proactive communication during the reporting process
Required qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL regulations is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Must pass a background check and meet work-from-home requirements
