Michigan Licensed School Social Worker

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Social Worker - MSW - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs, collaborating with teachers and parents
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and provide direct counseling services to students
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources, and participate in IEP meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Michigan
• Previous experience providing social work services in a school or pediatric setting
• Knowledge of social work theories and interventions relevant to children and adolescents
• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred)
