Job Summary
Seeking a compassionate Michigan Licensed School Social Worker (LCSW) to provide remote, part-time or full-time mental health support to K-12 students, focusing on assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention to enhance students' emotional and academic success.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students' mental health and collaborate with teachers and parents to address needs
- Provide individual and group counseling services for issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma
- Respond to crises, including suicide risk assessments and emergency mental health support
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Full MDE Certification
- Experience providing clinical or school-based social work services to children and adolescents
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis response
- Knowledge of school systems and evidence-based interventions
