Job Summary
To support the mental health and emotional well-being of K-12 students, a part-time Michigan Licensed School Social Worker (LCSW) will conduct assessments, provide counseling services, and respond to crises in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students' mental health and social-emotional needs in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide individual and group counseling focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma
- Respond to crises, including suicide risk assessments and emergency mental health support
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Full MDE Certification
- Experience providing clinical or school-based social work services to children and adolescents
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis response
- Knowledge of school systems, child development, and evidence-based interventions
