Michigan Licensed Staff Engineer

Job Summary

To support advanced product design initiatives, the contract Staff Engineer will conduct advanced prototyping, problem-solving, and software development while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a pharmaceutical and medical equipment manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct advanced prototyping and testing, translating user needs into design specifications
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and other departments to ensure project success and improve processes
• Design and develop software components for medical devices, applying coding standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Matlab
• Experience with integrated development environments (IDE) and software analysis tools
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle processes and regulatory compliance standards
• Ability to create estimates for code implementation time and resources
• Experience in developing and verifying software components for medical devices
