Michigan Licensed Teradata DBA, this position is a contract role based in Lansing, Michigan, offering a hybrid schedule with responsibilities including managing Teradata applications, performing ETL processes, and providing technical support and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Teradata applications and perform ETL processes using Unix/Linux scripting
• Conduct performance tuning and optimize SQL queries within the Teradata environment
• Provide technical guidance and training to development teams and end users

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Teradata V17
• 5+ years of experience in ETL using awk and Shell Scripting in a Unix/Linux environment
• 5+ years of experience with Teradata Utilities (TPT, Mload, Fastload, BTEQ, etc.)
• 3-5+ years of experience in performance tuning and SQL skills
• 1+ years of experience with BI reporting tools and basic modeling operations
