Michigan Licensed Triage RN

Job Summary

Providing essential support to community callers, the full-time Michigan Licensed Triage RN will manage triage calls, apply clinical knowledge to assess patient needs, and direct callers to appropriate care levels in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Triage callers' conditions and provide protocol-driven guidance to ensure appropriate care
• Communicate effectively with the care team to meet caller needs in a timely manner
• Utilize physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual knowledge to influence positive healthcare outcomes

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan
• BSN preferred; certification in the specialty area of practice encouraged
• Experience in care management, patient triage, or ambulatory/clinic-based patient care
• Strong analytical and computer software skills
• Participation in continuous quality improvement initiatives is preferred
